Boundaries
Where and how do we create boundaries for ourselves? How do we signify these boundaries?
Starting with a strictly defined grid these paintings use geometry and interacting shapes as a starting point in exploring personal and public boundaries.
I look for harmony and balance in composition, colour, and tone. Creating a sense of rhythm and rhyme.
This series embraces both floating bodies of flat colour, and delicate brushwork or pencil markings.
